Persistent Pain Management
Persistent pain is a widespread problem which is often very confusing and distressing for sufferers.
Despite advancements in technology and treatments, pain often persists. In many cases information and treatment provided may have been generic, ill-directed or only focused on one part of your problem. There is strong evidence of multiple influences on persistent pain problems.
Here at Quest:
- we are experts at assessing key influences on your pain
- we will give you clear information that is easy to understand
- we will provide you with an individualised plan and the confidence to move forward
Workers' Compensation
As part of our Specialist Physiotherapy services we provide Specialist Physiotherapy reviews and management for injured workers and insurance compensation cases.
This process involves:
- one hour clinic based appointment with our Specialist Physiotherapists to thoroughly assess the influences contributing to the client’s ongoing problems
- a comprehensive letter is included outlining the dominant contributing factors and specific management recommendations
- this is communicated to the client and all stakeholders to promote a collaborative treatment approach
Telehealth/Skype consult service is also available for regionally located clients.
Second Opinion
At Quest we offer Specialist Physiotherapist reviews of patients with difficult or ongoing pain.
- your problem may be complex
- you may be confused or find it hard to understand your pain
- you may have tried many treatments with no improvement or
- you may just want to review your rehabilitation plan to check you are on the right path.
We encourage treating therapists or family to attend these appointments to provide a collaborative approach.

Arthritis - GLA:D® Program
We are very excited to launch the education and exercise program – GLA:D® for hip and knee osteoarthritis.
The GLA:D (Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark) program was developed by researchers in Denmark and reflects the most current research in osteoarthritis (OA). It includes feedback from people with OA and treating practitioners on what works in the real world to help people manage OA symptoms.
The program is unique in that the education and exercise can be applied to everyday activities. By strengthening and correcting daily movement patterns participants will train their bodies to move properly, prevent symptom progression and reduce pain.
