Cost: Gap free if you have physio cover on private health or an EPC care plan, price negotiable* (up to $40 per session) if you have neither

Appointment times: 90 min initial, 45 min follow-up
What does it involve: 2 musculoskeletal post-graduate physio students and a supervisor will be in the room, 1 student assesses and treats
*We want to reduce the barriers for people getting access to physiotherapy through this service, hence if you are experiencing financial hardship we are happy to see you for no cost. Any financial contribution helps make the use of facilities financially viable.
This is a great opportunity for an individual to receive physiotherapy from an already qualified physio who is completing post-graduate studies through Curtin University to further advance their assessment, treatment, and diagnostic skills, while being supervised by a highly experienced post-graduate musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
For the client, this is an opportunity to be thoroughly assessed and given a comprehensive management plan for no out of pocket cost. This is ideal for individuals where the cost of physio has prevented them consulting with anyone in the past or for individuals wanting a second opinion regarding their pain.
We are looking to recruit at least 15 clients to see the students during this 6-week block. We are looking for individuals with musculoskeletal pain issues including:
- Joint pain (including arthritis/osteoarthritis)
- Muscular pain
- Nerve pain
- Tendon pain
- Other common pain issues which may include bursitis, impingement, rotator cuff tears, sciatica, kneecap (patellofemoral) pain, etc
